Chapter 180 Local Membership

EAA Chapter 180 is a Non-Profit chapter of the National EAA Organization, serving Sarasota and Manatee County General Aviation, based from the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport which services over 4000 Local Pilots and Aviation Enthusiasts. EAA is an organization of people passionately committed to nurturing an environment in which innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit soars. The result is a powerful grassroots motivation capable of changing opinions, altering regulations, and building the spirit of aviation. One of our core values is instilling excitement and imagination to local youth with our Young Eagles program. This program provides local children ages 8-17 with their first introduction and ride in an airplane, and has been proven extremely successful in motivating future generations of our youth to enter the aviation industry as leaders in Aviation Commerce and Pilots.

As well, EAA Chapter 180 provides a social and educational bond between aviation enthusiast and pilots in the Sarasota – Bradenton area by providing non-profit events, training and education to all members.
