Teacher And Educators: Young Eagles Program

Dear Teachers and Educators,

The Young Eagles Program is an exciting and fun program to refer students and their families to participate in.  Not only do the kids get to experience the excitement through the introduction to aviation and actually going flying,  the get a brand new aspect on life!

Children who participate in Young Eagles get to experience life from another view point.  Often times, kids participating in the Young Eagles Program leave with a new attitude.  Kids experience a new confidence within themselves. and their abilities.   How many of their friends ever got to fly in an airplane or even actually Pilot the airplane?  This confidence is hard to come by, and is paralleled with a tremendous boost in self-esteem.

As an Educator, you know that anything we can do to boost the confidence and self esteem of a student will go far in their educational development, but can create a life long impressions and change.  Those who become Pilots, or experience Aviation are more likely to succeed.

This is where the  “I Can Do Anything I Put My Mind Too” attitude starts!

We hope that you participate in the Young Eagles Program and refer some if not all of your students to Young Eagles.  In addition, EAA Chapter 180, like many other chapters around the country is comprised of Leaders and Positive Role Models from within our local area.  All of the members of EAA Chapter 180 are Business Owners, Former Military Leaders, Commercial Pilots, Career Driven, Successful Men and Women and Educators.  What better group of people to introduce your students to!

If you are interested in experiencing first hand, come join us on a Young Eagles Day and lets take you flying as well!  We hope that you pass on to your students what people passed on to us, and support Young Eagles!
